Was just at Palmetto Armory yesterday and saw a business card with the forum address so I thought I'd sign in. Was active for some time on Carolinal Shooters Forum but that kind of went by the wayside. Real active with collecting and shooting on my home range, mostly handguns but getting into HK and HK-Clone long arms now along with some NFA. Gearing up to start up again formal competitive shooting, been out of it for more years than I care to admit to, probably IDPA/Steel for now.
Wife did a lot of shooting and reloading alongside of me and may start again since our oldest is 10 now and about ready to get into competiton. Having our 3 year old lift some weights so he can be the ammo boy for the 3 of us till' he is old enough :p Got our own 3 man team!

Just floating around. Honestly on the other forum I started seeing a lot of drama brought up by Ohmamma lovers that thought they would buy a gun since their hero is probably going to ban them! It's not I won't sign in, lot's of nice people there also but too much BS to sift through to be able to enjoy the "old days" so I have been keeping off a lot of forums.

Like I said went to Innovative Arms friday where they are starting with my Krink project and a "tactical" Romanian build and threading a few of my barrels for my supressor whch should be here ANY DAY NOW... "Your form is in the mail" yea..right! Stopped by Palmetto Armory on the way up and saw mention of this web site at the register. Spending more time working overtime so I can afford these toys than surfing the forums. Also think I will be going down to Pappy's for some competition. It's in my blood and I have not done any since I was 17, time now to come out of retirement

Hum...codes vary from state to state, often from department to department and I had never heard of that one...possibly slang for retired ? I never retired, I got out while I still had my sanity LOL... I look at it as I did my 4 years of duty! Love the job, don't love the pay OR the politics!

No wonder most states are enacting regulations against 10-Signals and Q-Signals like QTH. After hurricane Andrew most Florida agencies did away with them due to conflicts caused with mutuial aid help from other regions and states, that kind of spread to other places in the country since it made sense.
