Yay!!! I am officially retired!!

Got awesome news today. My four year battle with the coast guard is finally over. I won my appeal and won full medical retirement with benefits today. Should be officially retired in the next few months. I am totally stress free as of today. The coast guard tried with ever power they had to screw me over royally but one phone call to congressman Tim Scott and they crumbled. It is amazing what a inquiry from a congressman will do.

Speaking of that...Dont know whats going on but my normal 125-150 transfers a month has slowed down to about 50 so far this month. I have no clue whats going on but I dont like it. On the other hand class 3 transfers are doing great so it has sorta balanced out money wise.

Henry...I must say that I am sorry that I haven't been able to keeping HHB Guns doors open as of late.....just haven't found those deals that need transfered....For some reason it is getting harder to buy and sell on the internet...No one in N.C. wants to ship, and, the people in Georgia are getting that way, also....

I promise to try harder to give you more transfer money in the future....LOL

Tim Scott has bent over backwards for me. I cant say enough about him. I had concerns about more future gun laws with obuma so I wrote him a letter. Less than 24 hours later I had a phone call directly from him. We talked on the phone for over 15 minutes about guns and the 2nd amendment. He swears He wont vote on any more laws against the 2nd amendment. When I was on the phone with him he told me to call him if I ever needed any help so when the coast guard said they weren't going to give me retirement but a swift kick in the ass and $77,000 and no benefits so I called him again. His office has followed up with me weekly making sure the coast guard wasn't going to screw me. I got a call from my XO saying Tim really pissed off headquarters which I just laughed and replied to him that if they wouldn't have tried to screw me under the table I wouldn't have called him. Glad I did.

The worse the economy gets fewer people buying and more people trying to sell.
