However, he was elected and is President. Predecessors have done worse and have not been impeached. This nation of people CAN vote him out of office in 2012 if they wish. Frustrating indeed, but we have to deal with it- then again, better informed people make better voting decisions too. :idea:

True Raver, and this may sound a little extreme but what if in 2012 he is elected out on a slim margin and doesn't agree and deploys the military to "secure things until he can get the right election results" without getting permission from Congress? This has been done in many other countries and anymore I feel that the old saying "it won't happen here" may not apply anymore.

Well, the more informed voters are beforehand, the better. Helping the politicians we DO want is a good way to get the word out. I can honestly say that I did NOT vote for Obama and I always explain why to whomever the topic comes up with. I also intend to make sure whomever I interact with between now and the next election hears every reason why not to continue his presidency. If it doesn't work, we shall just have to endure it all for another 4 years...
I know, not an easy task- then again, try living up here and struggling with the laws and restrictions. They say it is darkest before the dawn- I am optimistic that our country will change back for the better somewhere down the road. We've go to have faith, and I have faith that Obama will not continue for another term and we can go back to being the USA(and not the USSA).
The biggest leap though is to see the 2nd Ammendment rights here in Moscowchusetts beat Anorexia!!!
