Wanted: VHS VCR to borrow for a few days (or buy cheap)

Need to transfer some VHS material (not available digitally) into computer. Need a standard VCR for a few days - mine apparently died sitting all alone in the closet (I think the capacitors leaked and burst).

If you have tapes that you need in AVI or MP4 or M4V, I can do that for you. All I'm missing is the playback device.

Man...I just gave 2 VCR's to my wifes sister last Saturday...You could have had one of them....wish I would have known....

BenMara stepped up and loaned me his. Now that I'm digitizing them, the copies of copies of anime don't look all that great... :roll:

Still, Greenwood and You're Under Arrest with original voice casts aren't easily available on DVD, so...
