Just FYI, If you join the SCACA for $35 a year, I hope it's still the same price, you get free access to all the shows in Greenville and Columbia. Make 5 shows and you have payed for the membership.

That is correct,Redhat.Add to that the shows in Columbia and you are money ahead.
SACA has some great scholarships for young people wanting to further their education and we should all support this by joining. There is also a website.

Went to the gunshow this morning and picked up a really nice 1932 M27 with a TiKka barrel. I can't wait to get it to the range. The first chance I will probably get is shootzenfest.

I'm considering going to the show Sunday. Has anyone ever had any luck at bringing guns in and getting a fair deal when trading?

I say this because I have a 4 inch 1911 I'm trying to sell or trade for a 5 inch, I may even settle for a commander 4.25 inch. I'm not looking to spend any money towards a trade, just an even trade. I'll trade for something that is worth less. The only thing I require is the 1911 has to have an aluminum frame.

Just looking for tips or experience when bringing guns in for trading/selling while walking around there.
