run in with a sheriff deputy

So I was eating lunch today with a friend at a local bbq. A very small mom and pop type place so there are not very many tables. They encourage people to share a table and make new friends. So 3 sheriff deputies come and and sit down next to us. The one that sits next to me is a big boy and so we are a little tight on space. He looks at me and jokingly says "dont try to grab my gun ok." So I look at him and say "fine, but dont try and grab mine either." That shut him up pretty quick.

He wasnt uneasy, but he shut up real quick. Another friend of mine said I should have replied That wont be necessary, I brought my own officer
