I have always been partial to multi caliber guns such as thr T/C contender and NEF Handi-Rifles so I am interested in Rossi's Wizard. Has anyone owned, fired or even touched one?

My plans are to get one chambered in .223 then add the following barrels, 45/70, .308, and maybe 22 mag

any input would be appreciated

A friend has one, .22LR and .223. He got it for his son and he and the son both like it a lot.

I don't have any input, but I've been thinking hard about getting one in .223 with iron sights for something to keep behind the truck seat.

I have a H&R Handi Rifle. I bought a 20 Ga and 12 Ga Handi for about $80 each just for the barrels. The shotgun receivers are cast and are not recommended for use on rifle barrels. They do work using the Versa Pack 22 cal barrel. My first Handi was a 444 Marlin. I've picked up a 308, 280, 243 and a 223 barrel on Graybeards forum. I'm still looking for a few more. Some fitting is required on some barrels but not a big deal. I've looked at Rossi's Wizard and like their design. I haven't researched barrel cost though.

I already have the handi rifle with 3 bbls but they require fitting if you can find a bbl in the caliber you want or you send the gun off to NEF for up to 8 weeks to have it fitted to your frame. where-as the rossi requires no special fitting, just buy the new bbl and install it and shoot.

guess I'm gonna bite the bullet and get one
