Yeah, I know, it's not nearly as fun as guns, but SC Department of Health has the rabies vaccination clinics schedule up, searchable by county, here http://www.scdhec.gov/environment/envhealth/rabies/clinics.asp. It's generally $10 per pet. Our county never seems to have any so we go to the clinics in neighboring counties and they have never refused us, so if your county doesn't have any listed either that might be an option for you too.
Our vet charges a $60 office visit per pet so that's a nice chunk we can use for the ammo budget instead.
