Want to do the slide of one semi's. Which process would be the best? Most durable? Longer lasting? Who this lower the value of the pistol? I just want something different than Black oxide.

Can anyone one give any recommendations?

Thanks for the help

no hard chrome is for guns. i had a para frame, most parts and 3 mags done for $100. the mags were stolen with my range bag long ago. it puts a slick surface on i had no problem with reassembly. looks kind of grey but where it rubs a lot, over time it gets shiney.

Thanks for the replys, I think I will go with the Cerakote. But I will look into the HAR CHROME sounds interesting. I will take some before and after pictures.

Any recommendations on who to use?

Thanks for the help.

No recommendations down here, but I used to get racecar suspension parts plated with hard chrome to prevent corrosion and they stood up to road debris abuse pretty well.
