Went to gunshow Sunday and met Silent Bob in person, great guy and gentleman. Brother-in-law bought a Plum Crazy Lower to build a 20" target rifle. Went by Western Carolina Tactical table and he fell in love with a Sabre defense upper with a VTAC free float handguard and fluted 22" bull barrel. It had Tim hooked but we left the show to eat lunch with the wives and had to go back and get it. I loaned him a riser and a 4x32 compact scope. We took it out to Boggy Head today and tried it out. It is a sweet shooting combo with the Plum Crazy. It locks up tight with the PC lower (a 'gentle love tap' to put them together).

Jeremy gave Tim a great price on the upper and guaranteed sub-MOA with the upper. I think with the shooting it did with a cheap scope and Remington green box it will hold 'em to MOA or less. He will be trying it out, with his son, at Quantico at 600 yds with iron sights this coming year. I'll let you know how they do.

Many thanks to Silent Bob and Jeremy Davis.

Bob not only has the Plum Crazy lowers priced goos...he has the Del-Ton upper complete for $399.00...

He did have a special...buy both of them and you get a price break...It put the whole AR at right around $500.00...that Is hard to beat...

I had one of the Plumcrazy lowers, and it was great...I took it to the range twice, and it worked just as it was advertised to do...but then someone needed it more than I did, so I traded it off...

I am thinking about buying another one...I need another AR, and , I want a lightweight so I am thinking about the Plum Crazy...

He was sold out when we got there Sunday. Tim had already picked out a 20" upper from Del-Ton but the Sabre upper was too cool to resist. I love my Plum Crazy. I'll recommend it to anyone.
Next rifle to finish will be the AR10

I have a PC lower, and was going to get rid of it. I came to my senses, and I have decided that I am going to buy a complete .22 lr upper to bolt on and make a sweet little .22 trainer/plinker.

I had the exact same idea. Let me know where you find the best deal at a good price for the 22LR upper or I just might mount it on a Delton lower or buy one of the PC from Silent Bob.

Thanks
