What kind of punishment would they give him? To borrow from Cheech and Chong " Guilty as charged. Baliff wack his PP. Oh , he done that already."
The humiliation should be punishment enough since it made the national news.

Even worse, "it was not clear if the safety was on." to me that means these leos don't know squat about firearms. They didn't even realize what they are dealing with.

What I want to know is why he was finger fiddling so close to the trigger. Guns don't shoot themselves; at least, mine doesn't.

He was shoving the gun into his pocket, so it's possible that he caught it on something. Most likely he had his finger on the trigger though. What I want to know is why HE had HER gun.

might is also be a story made up for the police? perhaps his girlfriend took a more active role in the incident.
Perhaps the firearm was involved in a Bobbit event?

I hadn't thought about that, they did have another bobbit type case recently, although she made use of the garbage disposal after.

If I were going to bobbit a man, I'd use a bigger caliber...but then again, if that's what actually happened, perhaps she knew she didn't need a bigger round :p

There may have been a certain amount of finesse involved, after all one doesn't cut ones hair with nail clippers.
