You might consider scouting the FM forest. Plenty of hogs have been taken right down the road from Boggy Head.

Can you hunt hogs in Francis Marion Forest? Do you need a permit or anything like that?

Sure you can hog hunt in the FMNF. You'll need a WMA permit along with your hunting license. You must comply with certain restrictions on firearm types depending on the season and which WMA area you plan to hunt.
Check out the DNR website for the details.

Just looked at the DNR website, there is a hog "season" coming up in the FMNF the 2 -20th of March. I guess I'll have to take some leave and choot 'em.

Sour corn is working for us. I've got another 5 gallon bucket in the works right now.
Perhaps M16MANIAC could post some pic's of the pigs that have been dining on the stuff we've put out.
