I have been a member of the NRA for several years, but over the last few months I am getting emails and phone calls nearly every day........For the most part they are seeking donations....I have made a few donations, but now I am thinking of blocking them as spam.......I wish they would use the money they spend on this continuous campaigning on fighting the government instead of hitting on me........................................An occasional reminder via email is good for me and I would be more inclined to aid the "cause"

I renewed my membership in October and they keep notifying me that my membership is at it's end.....I have my new card in my wallet.......Any of you getting this stuff?

Pan,

I am getting this as well. Phone calls every day for the last two weeks. Huge drive on funds.

Just call member services and ask to be taken off the promo list. They called it "promo kill" when I called to upgrade to Life a few months ago.
1-877 NRA-2000 (1-877-672-2000)

It stops all the junk mail and phone calls, except for your magazine and maybe an annual request for an NRA-ILA donation. Super easy, and well worth it IMHO.

Remember, NRA-ILA is a completely separate pot of money. NRA cannot use standard membership dues for political lobbying. If you want to contribute to the political fight you need to send a few bucks to NRA-ILA. Your membership dues pay for the administrative overhead, magazines and other publications, training programs, education and outreach, etc. Not for political activity.
