Being the fng around here, I'll have to post pics of my soon to be sbr'd custom built HK MP5 clone. This was built by a member of Hkpro out of an LSC flat and real MP5 front end.

Oh, please do! I'm an HK fan and was contemplating on buying another MP5 clone to SBR into an A3 w/ SureFire configuration like so:

ATI, out of Turkey, is making MP5 clones on actual HK machinery and using actual parts. They're selling pretty cheap, too, when compared to an SP89 or the like. And, since all other MP5 cloners are out of business, ATI's guns kind of seem to be the only option for "new" clones.

The only problem with MKE guns is if you want to buy a full auto pack. They have a block in the receiver that prevents you from installing a fa carrier. They are pretty nice guns though. I'll get on the computer in just a bit and post up some pics for you.

This gun was built using a front end from an actual MP5. German parts include: Barrel, trunion, mag release, cocking tube, support and handle, rear sight, trigger housing and soon to be factory A3 or A2 stock. I do have enough US parts to cover 922r when I SBR it. I am using an RCM bolt carrier and head along with the frame, trigger pack and, when I use the Surefire forearm, that as well. Tell me what you think!

You've just cost me some money, squire.

I'm now definitely getting another MP5 clone and going to go the A3 route. I already have two SBR AK's.... might as well have two SBR MP5's.

The full size MP5's are more my style vs the K's. The ROF is slower and the gun is just more comfortable from a size standpoint.

The A3 stocks are great when it comes to storage or gun porn but they suck when you actually have to shoot with them. My stuff wears A2 stocks most of the time since they're range toys not working tools.
