The cement heads at the Brady Bunch never stop coming up with lies that defy reality.
Brian Malte, the director of state legislation for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence argues the permitless systems put law enforcement officers in a bad situation when they encounter someone with a weapon, and he's critical of efforts that would allow people who have never even shot a firearm to carry one in public.
What bad situation? That is just nonsense.

I've read/heard Brady use this law enforcement bit multiple times. To me, it seems Brady, among the other antis, are trying to use the "but think of the police!" routine like they use the "but think of the children!" routine.

It'd be nice. I'm used to Constitutional Carry from Alaska so having it in SC would be a pleasant change. The carry laws here are in significant need of reform!

Indeed they do. It's going to be slow, so be patient. A little bird told me that constitutional carry is dead for this session, but at least we can get rid of the stupid restaurant ban this year.
