Seeing that this forum is not bias to a manufacture, Id like yall opinion.

Caliber doesnt matter, 5.56/.223 or 7.62/.308 NATO, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, just want to be able to get ammo anywhere. ex walmart ( i know you cant find all of those @ walmart)

Current rifles ive been eyeing, FN SCAR light and Heavy, Robinson XCR, Arsenal AKs, and Kel-Tec RFB.

I doubt you'd go wrong with any of those but I'd ditch the AK in favor of an AUG.

Don't misunderstand me, everybody needs an AK in their collection but it's not as refined or versatile as the others on your list.

If you meant investment in terms of holding or gaining in value then I'd have to say the FN's.

Yea the FN SCARs are $$, rest are ok for $.

But what firearm can i just throw any ammo at and have it go bang. Ex the Glock of Assault Rifles..
I like the simplicity of the AK and Robinson XCR, Simple, 3 lug design and huge extractor. (Mudgun)

I buy guns to shoot, unlike some of my friends that are afraid to shoot cause they dont want to clean it after ward

I eyeballed the Robinson XCR at Knob Creek several years ago, pretty nice gun. I'd buy one if I had a windfall of cash come my way. I really wish they had not abandoned their M96 rifle.

Just transferred a Kel-Tec RFB two days ago. I must say that thing is sick looking. Don't know if it is really worth $1600 but it sure looks cool.

I think the RFB is a winner. I love the short OAL and the trigger is supposed to be pretty good for a bullpup. The forward eject is awesome, no more searching for brass, compared to the G3 that launchs brass into the next zipcode.

A buddy just bought a FN FS2000 and will be bringing it to SC soon. I hope to be able to do an eval on it as he will be leaving it with me for a while.
