Hey everyone,

Popping in to say hey. I recently moved here from the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. So far its been great, the lady and I are really enjoying it down here! From the people to the weather its been awesome....and the new firearm laws are really the icing on the cake. My first order of business was to purchase some standard capacity mags(I guess having PSA local to me makes it pretty tempting....).

Anywho, figured I'd swing in and say hi. I'm looking to hit up some USPSA and IDPA competitions. I know MCRC does a couple matches a month and there are a few up in Spartanburg. Anything else worth looking in to? I would also like to try my hand at 3-gun now that I can use standard capacity mags.

Welcome! The Spartanburg club shoots USPSA twice a month, plus IDPA and Steel Challenge. It's a great club.

There are Three Gun matches on the 2nd Saturday in Flat Rock NC which is just across the state line. New shooter friendly from what I've heard.

I'm the forum's "squeaky hinge" on the topic of Cowboy Action Shooting. There are two clubs that shoot in Columbia, one in Summerville, one in Aynor, one in Belton and my home club in Greenville. We also shoot Wild Bunch Action Shooting matches on 5th Sundays in Greenville. PM me for more info on CAS and WBAS. No high capacity magazines needed!
