I know there is not alot of talk on here about Black Powder guns, but, I aquired a new Traditions Hawken Woodsman, .50 caliber a few weeks ago. Man what a thumper, with a 300 grain spire point backed up with 95 grains of FFG, I put a hole through a pumpkin so fast it never even wiggled. The hole was the size of a quarter going in and a raquet ball coming out. I walked into the woods about 50 yrds and was following the trail of pieces from the pumpkin. When the hammer dropped there was almost no delay between cap and powder discharges. So I guess I did good with this one.
