My new toy

I just dropped the hammer on a Kahr P380 with Trijicon Night sights. Heard nothing but good things about them and I wanted something with night sights. Anybody else have one of these expensive toys? If so how do you like it? Put my old LCP on Armslist. Hopefully it will sell soon.

You bought a good one! I carry nothing but Kahr's and my P380 is in my back pocket at all times. I have a wallet holster for it and it's been my BUG for over a year. I have big hands but it still fits like a glove. It has the feel of a bigger firearm, accurate and has a great trigger. What I like about it is it's an exact reduced copy of the PM series. I haven't had the first malfunction with mine. I think you'll really like the performance of your little P380.

Still got that LCP? Would you consider taking a deposit until I can get to Charleston? I come down once a month or so to Edisto.

I really need the cash now seeing that I dropped the hammer on the Kahr. If I still have it when your in town drop me a line and we can meet up. I have had tons of replies all saying they want it but nobody wants to actually come look at it when I call them.

Whats in edisto for you? I have a condo there that I inherited from my grandparents on the golf course. If anybody wants a vacation home its for sale

I have a duplex in Wyndham. We go there every chance we get. My wife is a teacher and I can work from anywhere as long as I have access to the internet, my truck, and an airport as I either am travelling or working from home. Summer is a good time for us. I can't imagine why you'd want to get rid of your condo, I love Edisto. Its my favorite place.

If you want cash I can paypal you half if you want to sell it now. I can give you the rest when I pick it up.

Funny. Im at 286 Driftwood on the 18th hole in Wyndham. I just got it rebuilt in Nov 2008. It burned down to the ground in 2006. The unit below us caught on fire. I figured since it is brand new I should sell. The only reason I'm selling it because of all the money it cost for bills. Its killing me paying for two houses. I only use it maybe once a year.

As for the LCP. Let me see if I can offload it and if not I will make the deal with you.

Have you thought abou turning yours over for rental to Edisto Realty? They do a good job. We don't rent ours, but I really like those people. Not that my opinion should carry any weight, but I think you'd be a lot better off to wait for the market to heat up a bit and rent it until then.

Keep my informed on that LCP, I can get you $125 on it ASAP, and then I will pick it up as soon as I can. I think I will be in Edisto a week from this coming friday and I could come through Summerville if I buy it.

I sold the LCP today. Sorry. I needed the money. Had to do it. I have to get my Class 3 SOT $500 in the mail ASAP.

I got the Kahr yesterday and the night sights and holster came in the day before. Got the sights installed tonight and so far I'm happy as a pig in slop. I went to dicks and wall mart to buy the 200 rounds that it requires for break in and they were sold out. I knew I should have ordered it with the gun. Oh well a few more days wont kill me. The holster fits nice in the pocket and doesn't index. I like it cause it has a place for an extra magazine which is always nice. I'm sure it just needs to be broken in but right off the bat when I loaded my carry ammo in and released the slide lock it didn't go into battery. Hopefully with any luck its just the tight tolerances and that will go away.

Yup and I have an AK47 made in communist China too. The Moon connection won't keep me from buying a Kahr when the time comes.

Its funny you mention that because on my facebook page I put that I was getting a Kahr and one of my customers went off and told me how he will never own a kahr because of what you speak of.
