Just got my glock 23 back from palmetto arms llc today. I am happy as a pig in slop. He stippled the frame and Put the port on the slide and fit my bar-sto barrel. He tried to put the fish scale serrations but he didnt have enough metal on the slide or we would have cut into the slide rails.

Shot it yesterday. Shot well. Very accurate. I was knocking down 6" plates on the plate machine at 25 yards on every shot. I had a few failure to feeds all the way back to battery and called the gunsmith and he said it needed some throating. Whatever that means. He swears it isnt a big deal and can be fixed easily. As for the grip...it feels great in the hand. It has texture. The slide cuts act as cocking serrations up front and make it much easier to grab the slide. It doesnt feel any lighter though. Atleast not enough I can tell.
