An FYI for anyone travelling through or moving to The Socialist Republic of Moscowchusetts(I know, WHY would you WANT to!), here is a list of what is acceptable in the way of handguns:

http://www.goal.org/Documents/approved_ ... 9_2_09.pdf

Mind you, this list is not definitive, as the header states that the Kommisars have the final say as to what is actually allowable for sale. I must admit I am very surprised to see a large addition to the Glock presence, this must be a recent event. Note how many specific pistol types(even in .22LR) that are not allowed here!

NJ's ranked #2 using The Brady Campaign scorecard, Massachusetts is #3. Nobody comes close to California, especially with their new law of having your thumb finger printed every time you buy ammo. That place is totally out of control.

for a while banks made you put your thumb print on a check when you cashed it.
I actually called the Wachovia headquarters and complained about thet. I wonder if they still do it.

I thought the whole idea was a huge invasion of privacy. It is simple to twist your finger a bit and ruin the print.
They bank teller told me it was mostly to scare off the forgers. Thinking they had to put a thumb print on a stolen check, they thought would reduce crime.

Hmmm, a criminal who would forge a check is worried about committing a crime . . .

I don't see it . . .

shoot a 1903 with hand loads.groups 1 in at 100 yds.a lot cheaper than factory and you allways have ammo.

Yes it is. Local Leo signs the paperwork and after waiting for that to go through there's the 200 tax stamp and your done(Suppressors work the same way here to). I have several friends with FA firearms and we shoot regularly around here.

141HP, put your engine on idle please.

I do not know about the Gun Control act of 1968, but I sure know about the one MA. had in 1998. If you had fully automatic firearms from before 1998 that you registered during the birthday clause, you must be a Kennedy yourself.
