Long Creek Machine Gun Shoot

A few years ago my brothers and dad went up to Long Creek to do some shooting. When they got there they came across a gun club having an anual machine gun shoot. It was around christmas/new years. Does anyone have any information on this? I was working when they went and had to miss out on all the fun, so any help would be appreciated. I've googled it as many ways as i can imagine with no luck.

If it's the one in Walhalla then I have a friend that went a time or two but hasn't in recent years. IIRC it's held between Xmas and New Years.
There is a another member here that has attended perhaps he can chime in and elaborate. Otherwise you might contact Phil Flack out of Asheville NC and see if the shoot is still planned.
