So what choice did I have other than to get up at 4:30 Saturday morning and head out to the garage. Got the pot fired up & lead was hot and ready by 5:15 so I started casting 125 RN nines. Kept it up until about 8:30 or so. Probably wound up with 1700 bullets.

Started a little later Sunday morn around 6:30 and went til 9:30. Cast some more 9mm to start with then broke out the 45acp mold. Just guessing but I think I did another 600 of the 9mm stuff and between 800 to 900 of the 45's.

Phase two - size and lube all these babies, but I'm doing that in the house with some A/C.

I need to do the same thing. I'm out of 40 cal and started to order some Rainier bullets to hold me over instead of casting some. If it's too hot to cast then it's too hot to shoot... ;)
