I'm near enough Rock Hill. I'll have to try a couple of those out and let you know.

I like Greek food. the Gyros and Greek potatoes, Greek Chickens.
There used to be a place in downtown Charleston called The Old Town. It was owned by a Greek who did all the cooking. you walked by the front window and see the rotisserie chickens in the window. hmmmmm man!

they made everything in the restaurant. Baklava.

New "Q" Place opened up here in RH and I met the owner at a social gathering and went to his place the next day and its jam up.

He has some excellent pulled pork, smoked 22 hours over apple wood. His Ribs will knock your sock off as well and he makes 4 different sauces in his place, (home made by him and his brother) and he has a taste to match anyone who enjoys real "Q".
He is located in the new small shopping center on the corner of Mt. Gallant and Celense bypass, I think there is a new Food Lion as an anchor store and his place is on the other end and its called "Bats", not a big place but man his stuff has my attention. I will be heading back there to try his smoked chicken next.

Local place, local owners and I like to support them whenever possible.

I 2nd Maddog...

Bats BBQ was great.
went there tonight with the wife. We both had the BBQ tacos, she got the Mac & Cheese (smooth and creamy) and I got the Sweet Potato Fries (great, medium cut, not shoe string). We also shared a basket of fried pickles (chips), which rock!
Great local business, and I told them that I read about them on Palmetto Shooters Forum too... (nothing like cross promoting)

Thanks for the good suggestion... I'm getting ribs next time!

maddog i will have to agree with all of those , although Kinch's hamburger will give the Dutch Mill a run for their money.
