ICORE is the International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (http://www.icore.org).

I participated in the first match hosted by the Palmetto Gun Club (http://www.palmettogunclub.org) on January 14. The match was a lot of fun.

Monthly matches are held at the Palmetto Gun Club (located West of Summerville, SC) on the Second Saturday of each month September through June. Registration starts at 0900, shooting starts at 1000. The match fee is $15 for a five stage match with a round count of about 125. The match director is Karl Hofen ([email protected]).

ICORE is a revolver only sport with a minimum of 32 caliber (most are 38 special). You will need a minimum of four speed loaders in holders on your belt per stage. The ICORE rule book can be found at the above ICORE link.

You do not need to be a member of ICORE, but we do encourage you to join.

If you have not participated in action shooting sports before, you will need to email or call the match director for information on an Introduction to Action Shooting Sports class. This is free and it is a safety requirement.
