Chris from Summerville. Actually a transplanted Texan, but SC is okay too. I'm a pistol shooter with a new black rifle coming in in the next few days courtesy of a transfer by HHB Guns, kind of an exchange/gift from my mother. The rifle is a DPMS Panther Carbine A2 that I plan to drive some tacks with and I'm thinking of adding a couple extra uppers for different types of shooting. I am quite familiar with the AR as a National Guardsman and many years active duty with the Army. Two tours in Iraq so far. Always shot expert....well, most of the time. I have taken the Squad Designated Marksman course as well so I'm quite comfortable shooting iron sights out to 600 meters. My carbine has an A2 upper, ya think DPMS would let me swap it out for an A3 upper? Never been fired yet. If not, I'll figure out a good set-up eventually. Anyway, looking forward to shooting with you guys.

From Amarillo but have spent some time as a kid in the DFW area. Was also in Dallas prior to moving out here. Spent 5 months at Killeen in 2004 prior ro deploying. Honestly I like Texas better but the wife wanted to be close to her parents. I do like Summerville though. I just can't understand how an area a quarter the size of Dallas has worse traffic. :?

I've went to Houston, a long time ago. first time I ever saw overpasses going over the overpasses.
I think the very name Houston must have come from the work Huge!

Any way, Texas is very much in our thoughts. I hope they are able to set the example in the coming election years.
We need good examples.
