That is an interesting article. I've been to the dam a couple of times and it is impressive.

I remember doing a little ciphering the first time I heard the propaganda from this regime about how the fed gov was required to get anything done.

The cost of the Hoover Dam was $48M in 1931. I calculate that to be about $700M in 2011. Assuming the fed gov is required to make things happen, and the crapulous package was about $800B, we should have something to show for it that is at least as impressive as the Hoover Dam. So, where is it?
