I know my butt is going to get chewed on but here goes.
What is the first thing you want people to say/think when they see your truck and Logo? Gun Nut or Firearms dealer?
Redneck or Businessman? Professional... Responsible supporter of 2nd Amendment rights or (fill in the blank). Look at your bread and butter audience and project the message that will attract them but also think about winning some of the fence sitters who might be turned off by an extreme/over the top stance. I think the model is great looking but alienates some important groups of customers that you want to attract. Just a thought.

Dave, I appreciate the view and please take no offense but this is my thoughts....

Ok So I should get a 70 year old man with a SxS 12GA LC Smith??? Would that better target everyone sitting on the fence? Im down with putting a guy instead of a hot chick and Im down with putting an M16 Vs. a 240 bravo but my main goal is to push the fact that I am a class 3 dealer so I can get a lot more of ATP's business. Just saying Class 3 on the side of the truck doesn't do it. Of course I deal in everything but I have found in the past year there is a WHOLE LOT more money to be made in Class 3 sales than regular guns and transfers. Dont get me wrong, I love doing regular stuff but the money just isn't there. There is also about a 99.9% chance that people anywhere near the fence wont be buying any class 3 weapons anyway, no matter what gun scene I put. One thing is for sure. 97% of my customers are male between the age of 22-55 and my best friend said it best..."Leave the girl, guys buy guns, guys look at girls, guys looking at smoking hot girl with a bad ass automatic gun will remember HHB Guns every time from now on."

You won't hurt my feelings. You have to go where the money is. I did think a panoramic effect showing Hunting Father daughter/son >Swat/Military/Hot Chick > Competition Shooting to cover the continuum of firearms you service might be cool. " Serving Hunting Defense and Practical Shooters." None the less you will have my business and anyone I can steer to you. :D

I like it as the milita(ry) crowd would seem to spend more money on the products you are selling, then would the weekend hunter, in ammo sales anyway. Our group tends to pop off more than 20 rounds per range visit.

OKay, I've been thinking about it and besides the girl (yeah yeah boys will be boys) the thing that I find the most distracting is the flames/tearing metal thing. It looks really cool, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit busy and I don't see the advertising at first. What's the tailgate going to look like?

I just got a first draft of the company I picked. I hope this covers all walks of life and ages. I have already submitted seven changes that hit me right off the top of my head. Please give me anything you see needing changing. Keep in mind I may have already submitted it for change. It can be viewed on my facebook page at

Finally got it done yesterday. I have only driven it to college today and had two people pull up next to me, honk, and give me the thumbs up. One guy I could see as a future customer but one was a older 55-65 black lady on the interstate. Older ladies was def. not my target audience but I will take what I can get.
