Hello everybody,

My name is Andrew. I found this forum in the links section of the Upstate Amory Group's website. I found them, recently, pricing and researching new carry guns I want to buy.

Welcome
I think you will like it here.

Oh yea, I think so too. I am trying to find more places that share some of my ideals, or at least some of the more important ones :) It seems it is getting harder and harder as time goes by, even in the south!

I joined a few firearm related forums to become part of a communities of firearm enthusiast, to learn as much as I can, and buy/sell/trade weapons (mostly buy).

29 Mustangs!? Holy cow! Do you have a thread with any pictures or a list of the ones you have owned?

When you say Harley, are you talking about a bike, or the F-150 Harley Edition?

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Family, friends, firearms, and engines (FFFE), that about sums me up right there, lol. And don't forget about the big man upstairs.

Yes, welcome adn there are some IT folks around the forum too.
It seems like cars, guns, computers, anything that presents itself as a personal challenge is popular with us.

I have several handguns. Including a Ruger .22 MarkIII. I like it a lot. I can afford to shoot it, but mostly it's always been a challenge between me and the gun.
Sadly the gun almost always wins, but I get in the circle often enough to not let go and move on to, say birdshot from a 12 gauge.

I grew up on a used car lot and I've driven about any kind of automobile you can imagine. I had a 68 Mustang once with a factory high performance 289/4spd.
Hard to keep it on the road sometimes. I think, however my old Econoline van was one of my favorites. did some of my best work in that van . . . ;)

I have a a Ruger Mark I. I think the barrel is distorted or something. When a round is fed into the barrel, it gets stuck and will not eject. I have to get a knife or something and pry the shell out of the barrel weather I fired it or not, and regardless of the brand of ammo. And its hard to pry it out. I am going to have see about Ruger's warranty.

"Work", eh? Wish I had a nice vehicle like that around when I was doing "work." All of mine were a bit cramped in the back, lol.

Always thought it would be fun to build a Ford Aerostar or a Chevy Astro van sleeper, swap a 302 or 350 small block respectively and trick the hell out of it. Would even be pretty useful to have around too :) Once met a guy who had a Dodge Caravan that he spent a lot of money on that could smoke a Viper...

Thanks stan! Thanks for showing us around and letting us know about some of the shooting ranges, clubs, and CWP instrutors.

My wife and I will make some separate, more detailed, threads about our experience with Simpsonville Gun and Pawn and Upstate Armory Group. They were both great!
