Have you ever been made in public?

I usually don't worry too much about being made. The only way I can not print while carry IWB is with no holster and that's not something I enjoy doing. 3:00 is most comfortable position for me so it's usually sitting out there. No one's ever called me on it though.

Once I was riding up I-26 on the Harley-Davidson and my shirt had blown up and stuck behind the handles of my .45....I have no idea how long I had been showing the gun to anyone that I passed, but, I don't think anyone
said anything....LOL

I don't worry about it to much.
Back a million years ago when you could not get a permit I worried excessively about it.

I've probably been made and I have made a few myself, however that's one thing I don't worry about. As long as it's covered I don't worry about it. People probably thought my wife was carrying. She wears an Insulin Pump on her waistband. ;)

Most people are so oblivious to everything around them I don't worry. Many guys wear a cell or 2, plus a knife, and who knows what else on their belt. A little lump around the waist isn't going to attract attention except maybe from another carrier.

You hit the nail on the head, McDaniel. CCW holders, bad guys and kids notice. Bad guys because they don't want to pick on the tough mark and kids because they are at eye level with our weapons. CCW holders do because we are, hopefully, observant or sometimes paranoid about being made.

I get a kick out of just watching people and observing just how oblivious they are. I try to be aware of my surroundings and notice alot of people who have no idea of whats going on around them or what/who they are about to run into.
