They posted this on their facebook page earlier this afternoon, thought I'd share.
Message to our South Carolina Fans:
The Guns.com crew is going to be in Charleston for a week in September. We are looking film and write about Charleston's can't miss gun locations. i.e. best gun shops, ranges, clubs, hunts, hangouts, etc etc.
Help us in our research and suggest the can't miss places in Charleston we don't know about. Either comment below or send an email to [email protected]
We may even be organizing a meet-up in town if anyone is interested...
We appreciate your help.

East Coast Guns on 17a in S'ville. The only gun Store in my opinion..(Look for the Banner at top of page)

LOL I know East Coast Guns, Trader World, The Ammo Dump, Guns and Gold, and ATPhooey but it sounded like they were looking for stores and ranges actually IN Charleston.

Although unconventional, HHB Guns is a gun store. I think Henry exhibits the very best aspects of a supporter of Gun rights and entrepreneurship. i.e. he looks out for his customers ahead of a quick buck. He promotes gun ownership and responsible shooting by sponsoring people to the gun club. IMHO :D

There is Carolina Rod & Gun over on Highway 17 South. Also, in Mt. Pleasant is Henry's guns and there is one in Cainhoy. The name excapes me now...There is one more in Mt. Pleasant, but, I don't know what the name of it is either.

I tend to think of HHB as something more like a dealer than a gun store, mostly because I can't stroll in and plaster my nose to the glass. :)

It's too bad they're going to be here too early for fall Shootzenfest.

Did they say when they would be here? No reason we couldn't have a bunch of members and friends out at the range and invite them.

Dave

P.S. Duhhhhhhhhh, I didn't reread the original post.

Awww...shucks!
*back to refinishing rifle stocks*
I kinda think my husband is wonderful, he hasn't complained once about the table being junked up with gun stuff, just shuffles it off to the side so we can do silly things like eat. :)

Hey guys this is Chris from guns.com. I actually just posted this in the general discussion forum. viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2200

After I posted it I then came across this posting by Enjay. Thanks for putting this up Enjay. Yeah any suggestions you guys have is greatly appreciated. We are looking for good shops, ranges, hunting operations, etc etc.

Also the idea of heading out to Boggy Head sounds pretty cool. Perhaps we can organize a bunch of us to meet on Sept 17th. You guys can show us off some of your toys, we can do some cool video, we can promote your forums, etc etc. Let me know if that sounds of interest.
