Another example in an endless series of why we, as regular citizens, should completely disregard "NO WEAPONS" signs and carry guns everywhere we go.

Waffle House won't pay your hospital bill if you get hurt during a robbery or other violent crime.

Your own personal safety is your own personal responsibility.

I don't have any negative thoughts about a private business not wanting guns on their property. I feel it's their right. On the other side of things, I also have no qualms about ignoring their wishes.

The real question is, do these signs invite crime? In some cases (e.g. Aurora CO) definitely; in others, maybe the perps don't put so much forethought into their actions.

Each event has to be taken as a case-by-case study that is unique.

There was a guy that tried robbing a gun store that had one or two marked patrol cars parked in front.

Sometimes people just have poor impulse control completely independent of all other factors.

remember?

The best part of that article is the quote from the Sheriff:

COOL SHERIFF said:
?The way you get shot by a concealed weapons permit holder is you point a gun at him,? the sheriff said.
