Are either of these shows worth going to? I have to keep the Son-in-Law entertained next weekend.

Went to the Fort Mill show today. Not bad, fairly busy, and several SC dealers in house. Came home with most of my money ;)

Threw my back out Thursday and had to work on it today. I may drive up tomorrow if I feel like it and the reviews get better.

I enjoyed the show. Spent money. Spoke to one of the dealers afterwards and they were pretty bummed about low sales. Blamed the show and he won't be back. I think it had more to do with a) the economy, and b) his prices. I did see lots of private sales (some high end stuff too!) and it made we think that the percentage of dealers verses private sellers was rather high.

Hopefully, the promoter will return to Fort Mill again. I did notice that all the dealers were SC dealers and I didn't see anyone from out of state. Not sure it there is a prohibition on non-SC dealers or they just weren't interested.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks Gentlemen,
I appreciate the info. I hope I can make it up there next time. I'll try to go to Myrtle Beach and definitely to Charleston. Got to support them or lose them. The back has responded well to intense therapy and the Scotch helped a little too.
