Just wanted to remind everyone. There is a gun show at the fair Grounds this weekend.

Give me a shout if you see me...I will be the dumb looking guy wearing the Palmetto Shooters Forum tan hat...

I wondered if anyone was gonna post about this. Got a table along with kala azar, M16MANIAC and Bountyhunter223.
Hope to sell my SA M1A rifle (model 9106) and a few other things.
I doubt I'll be there all day both days but looking forward to seeing folks.

Glad I got to see a few of you guys out there today. Good show once they opened the doors up to let some air blow through.

I made the show today....About as usual. I saw P-1 Ammo, but, he was busy so didn't get to speak to them. Spoke with Bob From Unstate....They are good people...

Saw a few members from here...Good Show.....

To me, it looked like a lot of looking , but, not a lot o' big ticket purchases...Didn't see the paperwork desks busy as usually. Saw lots of people walking around with weapons to sell.. Kind of looked like to slow Economy is showing up at the gun shows...

Maybe it was because I had no money to buy anything.....I don't know....just seemed like it was slow for buyers...

I did get some ammo deals, so, it was worth the trip to me...

I got there about 1400. There was a good bit of folks looking, but I didn't see too many buying. I mainly went for some parts for my AR15 build. I did make a few inquiries about ammo, but it seemed too high to me. BTW, what is the deal with the guy who has all of those cans of old (from the 1980's thru 1990's) commercial ammo for sale at 2011 prices?-----ok---rant off.

Glad the Popcorn Lady was there!

I know what you meam about some of the ammo priced. I had one guy price me some surplus 30.06 ball ammo. It was in cardboard 20 round boxes. He wanted $16.00 per box...

I told him my Garand couldn't shoot gold, and I walked away...

We actually had a pretty good day, at least for us. We sold 5 or 6 including a tommy gun and an CTME.

We just got back from the show. I was pleased to see The Judy's from Belt Training. Lisa-Marie was super busy, as usual, but was kind enough to take the time to chat for a bit. I hope she takes me up on the offer to shoot the Carbine soon! I also introduced myself to Jeff and his lovely wife at the Precision ONe booth, great folks and we will be contacting them later this year for some ammunition. (Please, make the videos!) Then we found Dale at the East Coast booth and had a fascinating talk about guns. Ever wish you could bind up someone's knowledge and read it like a book? I believe those people would keep my nose buried in their volumes for a couple of years :)

I even managed to strike up a conversation with a gentleman about reloading while we were looking at some presses, it so happens that he has the press I'm looking at purchasing (Lee turret) and he passed on some feedback about it. Unfortunately the crowd separated us before I had the chance to mention the forum to him by name.

Did anyone see that odd looking thing one of the vendors near the front door had? It resembled a really big rifle receiver mounted on a tripod/stand, it had at least two things mounted on either side that looked like smallish scopes or other optics, and it had a price tag that said something about lasers and $2,500. What was that? I didn't want to fight my way through the gentlemen that were looking at it just to satisfy my curiosity so I thought I'd ask here.

All in all it was a very enjoyable time. I did notice that there didn't appear to be a lot of big purchases going on, and I didn't see as many people making trades as I usually do either.

Hope all had a good time at the show. Wanted to go but had a 4 day drill weekend. At least the November show is late in the month so I can go hang out.

I agree P-1 Sunday was very slow. I meant to say hello to the B.E.L.T group since our table was two down from theirs. Seems every time I looked down there they were busy - maybe next time.

We had plenty of traffic gawking at the suppressed SBR's. I did sell my M1A but kala azar had the hot hand and moved most of his stuff Saturday, man he could do no wrong on the sales floor!

Did meet another MG owner that we hope to shoot with soon and bring him into the fold here at PSF.

Then we looked at your table! lol I thought I recognized M16's brother near there but I wasn't sure so I didn't say anything. Now I wish I had spoken up!
