Hate to post this because of out swap meet, but, here goes...

Gun Show this Saturday and Sunday at the Performing Arts Building in N. Charleston,
times are 9:eek:o AM till 4: 00 pm both days.

Guess they didn't do much advertising...This is a great place for a show. Isles are WIDE...you will not be run over by strollers and such....

But...PLEASE don't forget about our SWAP MEET at EASTCOAST GUNS SATURDAY...we need to help these guys because they are helping US...

Thanks
Steve

anyone go to the show today? And why all the hype about east coast? I personally dont see it, "biggest little gunshop"? make no mistake i'm not a fan of ATP either. I wish there was a local shop that had 3 things
1- inventory or decent selection
2- decent prices on what they did stock
3- employees that are not "self-proclaimed" experts

Went to the gunshow today. Precision one ammunition was there with great prices like usual. Docs gun exchange was there with fantastic pricing. Other vendors had overpriced stuff as well. You had to search for a good deal. Ammo was a joke at a lot of vendors. I do enjoy seeing $90 for 355 or 500 rounds of. 22lr  i did not pay too much attention to. 223 or 556 stuff or even ar's. Did laugh at several vendors with some rifles that at wanted at over 100% markup over new and this was on used junk.

Several people walking around trying to sell "new never fired" psa ar15s for $1500+ at the show. No attachments and just one magazine. I do like the one at the performing arts building better, but i guess with my current income, gunshows are really becoming a place to not find that much of a good deal anymore.

I went early this morning (Sat.). Only saw 3 tables empty...

Lots of ammo...most of it crazy priced, though. Glad I don't need .22 ammo...what crazy pricing...

I say a few GOOD deals on new handguns. The rifles were WAY TOO HIGH...

I talked to Jeff at P1 booth for awhile...He said that he was sometimes having to pay retail prices on brass, just to keep making ammo...His prices are very fair as ammo goes now...

Bob's booth from Upstate was there. I was hoping to maybe pick up a cheap complete upper from him..There was not a single complete upper there, but, didn't get to talk to BOB...His prices are very fair...and, they were busy...

I may try to go back in the morning...just to kill some time..

Interesting! I may go and show off my SL8 to G36 conversion and try to sell my revolver to fund other stuff. Anyone know the going rate on 5.56 at the show?

So, is the prevailing thought that this is a better show than the fairgrounds? I figured the ammo prices would still be stupid, so I didn't go. Went shooting in the rain instead.

There were a lot more people this time than the last time, but still plenty of room between the isles. It was nice to see that some prices had turned around somewhat; other prices were still ridiculous...
