I'll be there working.
Many think the storm is going to present a problem. I think it will be gone by way before Saturday. When is the RO training, Friday afternoon, or night?

I believe they do it every morning because of different people on different days. I can't remember from last year.

They usually have the RO brief at 8:00 that morning, registration is at 9:00. Not ROing this event but will be there to shoot!!

I have to admit that I had actually heard some very not great things about this match but I always like to make my own decisions so I went. As to how it was ran - I had absolutely zero complaints!! I found all the ROs polite, helpful and excellent at what they were doing. I did really did not have too much of a wait at any one stage - but some of that may have been the bad turn out Saturday. I think the only comment I have is the heat and the fact that more tents would have been great. Registration took forever for those not pre-registered but that was do to printer malfunctions and just goes to show that pre-registration is definately key! Other then that - it really was a great shoot and ran very smoothly. Thanks for all who worked it!!

I didn't make it there to work. My daughter hid my keys that morning. She's 3.

One of my neighbors worked on Sat. They had 95 people come through his bay. I think that there was at least 2 sets of plates running. Last year we had over 120 a day. The range and members work hard for these events. Remember they are all volunteers. Some of the guys that travel for these couldn't believe that we had bathrooms and showers.

I attened Saturday with two new shooters. Overall we had a good time. Better than the last two events there. Yes, heat is a factor this time of year at MCRC.

The folks working the sign ins really set the pace for the match and how fast the stages roll. Did a much better job too overall.

We showed up early (about 45 minutes) an Chris had the registration all to himself. And the printer won't work at all for the longest time so walkups had a long wait. I was pre-registered. I had a good wait also. Somehow I was scheduled to shoot a match in Calif! Finally Chris hand wrot my labels....

The wife stayed and helped get the pre-registered out the door so we could get some shooting going on by 9am and it worked.

While there was some glitches (reshoot at the GLOCK M and confusion at the Plates), everthing seemed to run well enough. Got to visit with friends from around the state and shoot guns, what could get any better?
