Enjoyed the blog. My Son in law told me about that range near y'all. When he told me the rules ,and after a few choice remarks about their mental deficiencies, I looked it up on line and told him I'd just as soon not support that type of government oversight. I have choices here in the Low Country that are not so restrictive and sound like they are safer. He shoots a Mosin so rapid fire and high capacity mags are no problem. He comes down here to shoot his pistols.

I have to retract my statements about Manchester State Park Shooting Range. I went there with my Son-in-Law and found the the facility to be very nice. The Range Officers I met were very friendly and helpful and not overbearing. The rules are strict but it seems to be working well. I did enjoy the range and the folks I met there. I will go back when I'm visiting Sumter.

Had a good RSO last time I went. Actually called the line hot and cold properly and checked to make sure firearms were cleared. Unfortunately, I also had someone next to me who had no idea what they were doing, so I left after the second time he muzzled me.
