Well I got a lot of once fired 5.56 brass today and started sorting though it. This is what some of the brass looked like. Can anyone think of a use for it?
The ones you can't straighten toss in a bucket for scrap. I manage to turn in a couple buckets a year, It gives me a couple bucks for lunch or gas eTc.
Cut them down and reform into 300 Whisper cases! Well OK maybe that's a bit too much huh.
I collect brass that's damaged and give them to my father. He does small scale metal casting and is always happy to receive more "stock".
300 Whisper hmmmm maybe in a few years but I think a .458 SOCOM may be in my future first. Now to get my reloading equipment and beg for some help from the form members so that I can become addicted to another part of the shooting sports.
