Went to the DNR range up near Liberty. Verified zero on my Taurus 1911 and got the wife 50 rounds of practice with the Mark II.

Any members here out that way today?

Good for you, I wish I could get my wife to shoot with me. She will accompany me once or twice a year to the range simply out of guilt. She rarely even gets out of the truck, she is just along for the ride.

Hey, you are lucky the wife will even ride that far.

I got the wife a new Glock 9mm...and still can't get her to go shooting...

Oh well....guess I will have to do the shooting for both of us>>>>LOL

My wife is supportive of RKBA and my turning it into the hobby I have but always says shooting "isn't her thing" but she is getting a little practice in before we go to take the CWP class together.

I try to get her to practice at least a couple times a year anyway to make sure she's still minute of torso.

I have it even worse... When my wife goes to the range with me she tries to use as much ammo as I do... She doesn't limit herself to the small calibers either!! Oh, wait a minute... my situation is completely different :)

My wife "Qualifies" once a year... then isn't interested for another year. She did say that she wants to go shoot the new Ruger SP101 I got for her. I'm going to start her out on .32 Longs then 32 H&R Magnums then .327 Magnums and see what level doesn't hurt her hands. Arthritis is a pain. I hope she likes it enough to come out more.
