Sad that one of the young athletes was killed.
But the knew the risk.
The media circus needs to end.
The world should pay it's respects and move on.
I mean I cannot think of more dangerous sport than Luge.
You lay on a board on your back and go 90 miles an hour down hill.
Even if the pole had not been there he was going 88 miles an hour when he left the track.

I agree it is sad but move on. I watched a little of the opening ceremonies last night since the trucks got rained out and there was little mention of it but the media just won't let it go.

charlotte news station showed the clip of him getting killed . very sad. I dont think they meant to show it because they didnt give a warning first and the screen very quickly went blank and went to commercial.
