Looking at the Crossbreed site & see that they offer an option for Horsehide. What are the Pos & Cons for this option and is it worth the extra few $$. If I get a nice holster like these I would like to get it right on the first order!!

I own three STs. I have two of the "Deluxe" models; and one cowhide.

I would have to say that the "Deluxe" (horsehide) models are a tad cooler and absorb sweat better. Living in SC, I would recommend the "Deluxe".

Placed order for a Crossbreed with the Horsehide today. Got one for the LCP, I hope that I like it as much as everyone says.

Got my ST for my Ultra CDP last week. I've worn it a good bit since then and I am VERY impressed with it. The fit was a bit awkward at first before I got it to mold to my flank but after wearing it the first day, it has only gotten better and better! I'm not even wearing it with a gunbelt yet and it still is extremely comfortable. I wore it out Tuesday while helping my brother sight in a scope for his .17HMR. We were outside for about 5 hours that evening messing around our farm and I have to say, the horsehide was definitely cool to have been hugging against my side. Crossbreed has a nice product here and I would definitely recommend it to you!

Yours looks good, xlcooplx!

The one that I ordered is actually the Mini Tuck, I was a little suprised when the guy said that it would take about 3 weeks. Oh well, I will let you know how it works out!

Mine took two weeks and one day to get to my door so hopefully it won't take too long for you!

After reading these post I decided to order one for the 229 along with a new belt. Let you know in a month or so how I like it.

Thanks,
Jeff

Oh yeah, I forgot to update... Holster came in before promised & I have loved it - it is very comfortable after a few days breakin period. I hope you enjoy yours just as much Jeff.

Got the holster. Looks well made and feels great to wearing. But its fugly as sin and a little hard to put on. I'm use to the inside the waste band holsters that clip on. There is very little printing, just be sure to have on a pair of pants that has some extra room.
The belt looks to be made for hard use. If I could only have one belt this would be the one. I swear I could use to to ride down a telephone cable with no problem, probably could take my whole family and a couple of extra neighbors with me at the same time.

I'll try to take a couple pictures,
Jeff
