Does anyone know of a gunsmith in the low country who is comfortable with older colt revolvers?
I picked up a model 1917 in 45LC and its more of a shooter than a collector, as it has been refinished. The the trigger is very stiff, and the return is sluggish. In single action, the gun shoots well, but the double action is pretty gruff. Anyway, I'd like to see if it could be made more shootable.
