Bought a Yildiz OU in 12 ga.

Hope it shoots as well as all the reviews I have read. Mainly from Texas forums, as the only US Distributor is Academy, and they started in Texas.

Thanks guys, It is a really nice gun. They are turkish made and the ones they import here are really well made, but not fancy. I tend to use the the guns I buy(gasp), so a little engraving doesn't warrant a high price to me.

They get really good reviews, but since they only have one distributor and they are regional, a lot of people haven't heard of them. I'll take some pics later and show the wood and detail engraving on mine, which isn't too shabby for the price, in my humble opinion.

They also sell the O/Us and SxSs in 12, 20, and .410

Hope this isn't a silly question, but here goes...

which barrel fires first on a single trigger over/under shotgun? Never got to handle one before. Nice looking shotgun there mcdaniel!

IIRC the top usually fires first unless it has two triggers then you can take your pick.

Over-Unders generally have a selective trigger, slide the selector on the top of the reciever right or left for top or bottom barrel selected first.

SxS doubles can have traditional double triggers or you can have a selective trigger.

thanks for the compliments
