Just wondered if the boggyhead range is still open???
I heard rumors that twin ponds was closing due to clutter. Yet on this forum i see a massive cleanup being performed.
Is the twin ponds range still open?? Bill

Yes, Bill, Boggy Head is open. I was there 2 weeks ago...They had just cleaned it up that morning. It was very muddy, but, in good shape..

A few of us from this Forum were in the clean-up crew at Twin Ponds...It was a good day, with great eats...

Yeah man...this side of the world....but, a great place to visit...

Once, on one of my trips there, I saw a neat toy...They had a model 1919
.308 Browning on a tri-pod.It was C-clamped to the table, and the ammo box with the belt was setting on the seat....It was great...

Soon as the weather improves i plan a trip to boggy head.
I'll post the day i plan to go in case enyone else wants to join me.
This will be probably in march.
I would be going on a monday, wednesday & a friday. Thats my only days off.
From the creek its about a 80 mile round trip. I used to cut through the francis marion forest by taking a route on 402 after cordesville. Bill

Ah a 1919 one of my favorites, I'm still kicking myself for passing on a parts kit when they were cheap. :|

Same. Still in the case. I did size & trim some brass we shot last weekend. Got to find a good load for the FAL. That crap I loaded for the CETME ain't gonna cut it.
