I agree with both of you except he is more likely to believe gun ownership is fine for those of his social/economic strata. You'd be disgusted with some of the elitist BS I've heard spouted by politicians and community leaders who support gun ownership for the "Right" people. Of course you only hear that if they think you might be one of those "Right" people. When you tell them you don't agree, they start backpedaling so hard they trip over themselves. They feel "The People" are too stupid or too easily led to be trusted. Unfortunately, some of those same politicians are found in both parties. Weeding them out is the hardest task we face. They seldom show their true colors until they are in a position to screw the gun owning public.
