At the range one day, I found an old skillet. I stuck it in the ground on the berm, handle first, and took some shots at it with one of my Mosin Nagant 91/30's. The rounds punched right through it.
Took it home afterward to throw away.
At home, I discovered that one of the rounds had hit right on the edge, ricochet across the bottom of the pan, and then back up the other lip to send the round back at us. Its hard to see in the picture but it left a smear of lead across the bottom of the pan. Thankfully, no one got hit.
Next time, I'll turn the frying pan the other way round and send the ricochets into the dirt. Be careful shooting steel.
